Kayaking on the Li River
 Putting
in at the ancient town of Fuli near Mushan,
paddle your way South down the Li River to Puyi. Although
the limestone towers are not as dramatic as between Xingping
and Yangdi, this section of the Li River is beautifully
serene with little traffic. It is also an excellent vantage
point from which to see riverside rural life as fisherman
look after their nets and farmers let their water buffalo
out too cool off in the river's shallows.
The paddle tour takes around three hours but you can break
it up by stopping in Liugong where you can have lunch and
explore this ancient river village.
When you arrive in Puyi, will have a driver waiting for you
on the embankment. He will drive you into Puyi town where
you can get a local bus that brings you back to Yangshuo.
The whole trip can be organized at the Yangshuo
Village Inn , but it is worth noting that the this river
trip can be quite tiring and is better suited for fit people.
