There's little authentic handicraft left in Yangshuo, apart from traditional watercolor painting, fans and hand-sewn shoes. Most of the culture products sold in Yangshuo West Street are from elsewhere. The best authentic products come from minorities in Guangxi and neighboring Guizhou province. These are bags, silver, papercuts and especially clothing. Some batik is still made locally and can be bought in the Yangshuo Village Inn store, as well as at our sister hotel, the Yangshuo Mountain Retreat.
