Unlike other Yangshuo hotels, our guestrooms are not cheaply and quickly designed for the mass-market. All our furniture is hand made and custom designed by American owner, Chris Barclay. You will not find plastic, single-use items or incandescent lighting. Our unique Yangshuo hotel caters to those who seek a more authentic and tailored Yangshuo accommodation experience. We have gone to great lengths to source recycled wood and use locally made bamboo furniture throughout our hotel. From the river stones in our bathrooms to our traditional cinder brick floors, our guestrooms and public spaces have been designed with local sustainability in mind. Like our sister hotel, the Yangshuo Mountain Retreat, we created the Yangshuo Village Inn as a green hotel, to set an example for sustainable tourism in China.
